This role will be initially office based, then site based.   Jobs Task and Responsibilities Managing the overall program of works for the Bridges team where a you will have SPE’s and PE’s reporting to youManage the effective implementation and adherence to company and project safety and environmental proceduresEnsure work practices are in accordance with the requirements of the Occupational Health & Safety Act & Regulations and to company proceduresDetermine resource requirements to complete the projectEncourage and motivate employees to utilise the full scope of their abilities to enhance individual, team performance and career opportunitiesDevelop and maintain a positive relationship with the workforce built on communication and consultation in compliance with the applicable frameworkManage Employee Relations on the projectEngage and administer subcontracts/suppliers to ensure a high level of performance in terms of time, cost, and qualityResolve head contract issues with clientOptimise profitability to satisfy financial goals of the projectDevelop and maintain cost control systems and ensure conscience monitoring.Report accurate commercial outcomes in accordance with company systemsManage the planning and programming activities to ensure the most efficient use of resources and the completion of the project in accordance with the contractImplement and monitor project planning, programming, and resourcingAuthorise the project plan, all sub plans and the review and evaluation of quality non-conformance and audit reports and actions required from implementation of the plan(s) Knowledge, skills and attributes:  Strong civil background and have experience in structures and bridges.Tertiary qualifications in engineering or equivalentUp to 10 years project experience  180000 AUD Brisbane
