This role will service our key project areas including Forbes, Wagga Wagga and Albury throughout the life of the project. The ideal candidate for this role will be someone personable who enjoys working with others and engaging with the local community, as well as someone who can be flexible to travel to service the project area and attend meetings and events as required. About the RoleLiaise with owners, leaseholders, tenants and occupiers of land and any other landholders who are directly or indirectly impacted by the Contractor’s Activities or the WorksPrepare community notifications and construction updates and attend community events.Ensure all works notifications and project collateral use the client branded templates.Draft Communications Actions Plans for any planned and unplanned construction works.Obtain all permissions and Approvals from the relevant owners, leaseholders, tenants and occupiers of the land and any other landholders or Authorities for changes to land, access or property infrastructure as a result of the Contractor’s Activities or the WorksManage on-call 24/7 enquiries to address community and stakeholder issues.Record all interactions in Consultation Manager database within 48 hours of event occurring.Manage the engagement with any owners, leaseholders, tenants and occupiers of the land and any other landholders where the relevant land is potentially affected by the Works or the Contactor’s ActivitiesContribute to the delivery of the Social Delivery Management Plan Skills and Experience:2+ years experience in a similar roleExperience working on a major rail or infrastructure project will be highly regardedRecognised tertiary qualifications in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline will be highly regardedExperience in copy write, digital & website content management, advertising, and event coordination will be highly regardedTech savy – confident using Microsoft 365 and can adapt well to new software About You:Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholdersProven ability in developing and implementing community involvement strategies and plansAdvanced time management, planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet strict deadlines and consistently deliver on commitmentsAbility to engage in effective communication with a wide range of stakeholdersDisplay initiative and have a proactive approach to delivering role About A2PThe Inland Rail Program is a 1700km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne incorporating new and existing rail track. The program includes the upgrading of existing standard gauge track, the enhancement of existing standard gauge track to cater for double stacking and the construction of new standard gauge links comprising of viaducts, tunnels, rail track, crossings and bridges.Works in the Albury to Illabo and Stockinbingal to Parkes sections involve extensive enhancements to specific sites across the 355km of existing track running from Albury to Parkes. These enhancements will provide the necessary vertical and horizontal clearance along the existing 'Main South Line' corridor to support the safe running of double-stacked freight trains up to 1,800m long and 6.5m high.  AUD Wagga Wagga 2650

  • Liaise with owners, leaseholders, tenants and occupiers of land and any other landholders who are directly or indirectly impacted by the Contractor’s Activities or the Works
  • Prepare community notifications and construction updates and attend community events.
  • Ensure all works notifications and project collateral use the client branded templates.
  • Draft Communications Actions Plans for any planned and unplanned construction works.
  • Obtain all permissions and Approvals from the relevant owners, leaseholders, tenants and occupiers of the land and any other landholders or Authorities for changes to land, access or property infrastructure as a result of the Contractor’s Activities or the Works

Skills and Experience:

  • 2+ years experience in a similar role
  • Experience working on a major rail or infrastructure project will be highly regarded
  • Recognised tertiary qualifications in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing or a related discipline will be highly regarded
  • Experience in copy write, digital & website content management, advertising, and event coordination will be highly regarded
  • Tech savy – confident using Microsoft 365 and can adapt well to new software
