Job SummaryMartinus are seeking a Stakeholder & Community Engagement Manager. This position will be based in Sydney with the opportunity to travel to the site when needed. This role is to promote best-practice communications and engagement with external stakeholders and local communities. You will manage all aspects of community engagement for this project, ensuring alignment with the strategic and operational direction of the project. Tasks and ResponsibilitiesLead the development and implementation of best practice community and stakeholder engagement plans.Provide advice on approvals processes and emerging issues.Drive necessary engagement with communities and other stakeholders to identify solutions.Represent the business in community forums and develop communications materials.Engage with the client, statutory bodies, local government and media.Work proactively with the client and other key stakeholders on issues, collaborate on solutions and continuous improvement.Provide regular reporting and meet information sharing requirements.Develop communication strategies designed to meet diverse communities.Implement the Project’s sustainability strategies including the Sustainability Management Plan Knowledge, Skills, and AttributesRecognised tertiary qualifications in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related discipline.Experience working in rail or infrastructure is highly desired.Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.Proven ability in developing and implementing community involvement strategies and plans.Experience in copy write, digital & website content management, advertising, and event coordination.Advanced time management, planning, and organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet strict deadlines.Strong verbal and written communication skillsTo apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
