We value the importance of balance between work and family life; and promote this philosophy throughout the company The Role Martinus are seeking experienced Civil Estimators with a background in track, rail or civil construction to work in our pre-contracts growth team. Responsibilities as a Civil Estimator:   Responsible for administrative duties relating to the estimating and tendering process.Monitor and review bid and tendering process to ensure efficiency and to stay up to date on costing and changes.Coordinate and undertake effective handover of successful tenders to the project and management team.Attend tender briefings.Proudly grow and represent the Martinus Rail brand as the industry’s best in delivery of rail turn around and track solutionsWork alongside engineers and site staff to assist with timely and quality delivery of jobs.Work from bill of quantities to prepare estimates, pricing, costing for products and services.Timely and accurate presentation of estimates.Ensuring pre contract and legislative requirements are met.Be accessible to liaise with our engineers and suppliers for clarification and assistance.Apply working knowledge of the project planning and project delivery process to offer support and prioritise workload as required. The Requirements:     Tertiary Qualifications in Construction, Engineering, Project Management or similar.Cert IV in rail infrastructure (highly regarded)Minimum 5 years' experience in construction, tendering or project deliverySound knowledge of Rail Estimator SoftwarePrevious experience in a Rail Environment will be highly regardedStrong stakeholder management skills.    This is a great opportunity to join a proud, passionate, and dedicated team within a stable business that values work/life balance and gives our employees a real opportunity to develop their career experience and their character!Martinus are running a comprehensive recruitment process for this position.
