National Finance Manager – New Zealand

The RoleMartinus are seeking a National Finance Manager – New Zealand with Rail, Infrastructure or Construction industry experience. This position is a permanent opportunity based in our Auckland office. ResponsibilitiesProvide quality financial accounting support to the businessPreparation of all weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reporting requirements, ensuring these are distributed to management and relevant stakeholdersPreparation of annual budgets and business plansProvide leadership, guidance and support to Project teamsEnsure sound commercial, financial and contractual business practices are applied across Projects which are consistent with policies and business systemsProactively provide insights and commentary on financial performance to enable improvementReport to management and key stakeholders including External Audit, Tax and Corporate finance teams Required Skills and CompetenciesTertiary Qualification in Accounting / Finance / Business Management or related disciplineCA/CPA ANZ or equivalentPrevious Rail or Civil Infrastructure experience highly desirableDemonstrated experience working in a complex project-based organisationExperience leading teams with a strong understanding of transactional accountingExcellent written and oral communication skills paired with strong analytical skills AUD Auckland
