Plant Supervisor

We value the importance of balance between work and family life; and promote this philosophy throughout the company. We are seeking an experienced Plant Supervisor to join our team on the Inland Rail Albury to Parkes Enhancement Project near Forbes, NSW.Daily duties: Working in conjunction with delivery and safety teams, participate in the onboarding and mobilisation of all plant to the project site. Undertake inspections to ensure incoming plant meets compliance requirements for the project. Liaise with key stakeholders including subcontractor representatives to ensure compliance requirements are understood and met. Work closely with the delivery team to ensure onboarding deadlines are met to prevent impact on program. Manage scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance of Martinus plant. Ensure maintenance records and asset registers are accurate and up to date at all times. Any other tasks required such as assistance with stores, inspections, audits and reporting. Skills and Experience: Trade qualification - mechanical or heavy diesel fitter CERT3 or completed 4 year apprenticeship  Experience with civil and track mobile plant & working knowledge of light vehicles. Valid HR driver’s licence Construction white card Desirable but not mandatory: Existing Rail Industry Worker Card (RIW) with current rail industry competencies and Cat 3 rail medical Any additional certificates / high risk licenses will also be well regarded. About You: Solutions and safety focused approach. Good organisational skills with exceptional attention to detail Ability to work to deadlines and can prioritise tasks under pressure. Can communicate well and build rapport with key stakeholders Able to navigate software and apps to undertake role. About A2PThe Inland Rail Program is a 1700km rail infrastructure project stretching from Brisbane to Melbourne incorporating new and existing rail track. The program includes the upgrading of existing standard gauge track, the enhancement of existing standard gauge track to cater for double stacking and the construction of new standard gauge links comprising of viaducts, tunnels, rail track, crossings and bridges.Works in the Albury to Illabo and Stockinbingal to Parkes sections involve extensive enhancements to specific sites across the 355km of existing track running from Albury to Parkes. These enhancements will provide the necessary vertical and horizontal clearance along the existing 'Main South Line' corridor to support the safe running of double-stacked freight trains up to 1,800m long and 6.5m high.
