Job summary

Martinus are seeking a Project Controls Engineer to join our Queensland team on the Cross River Rail project. This is a permanent position is based in Brisbane and will rotate between Herston, Woolloongabba and Milton.

 

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Maintain the contract programs through Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project
  • Interpret and communicate essential sequence of activities
  • Implement robust project controls, and accurate periodic reporting and forecasts
  • Identify key milestones, prepare daily reports and dashboards, and maintain the project controls database
  • Review subcontractor’s detailed programmes and integrating those programmes into the master project programme
  • Prepare and assess detailed project plans for all stages and facets of a project, to help deliver project outcomes on time

 

Knowledge, Skills and Attributes

  • Previous experience working on large infrastructure projects
  • Experience overseeing project costs/controls
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
  • Ability to work under pressure and to tight schedules
  • High attention to detail
