We value the importance of balance between work and family life; and promote this philosophy throughout the company. Job SummaryMartinus is seeking an experienced Civil or Track Project Engineer to support our Cross River Rail Project.  Tasks and responsibilitiesProvide engineering support to the greater team to facilitate the construction delivery process.Actively develop work packages in support of project construction activities, defining the scope of works, materials, and resource requirementsSupport and assist the construction team in the execution of the project on time and within budget.Ensure that all construction is completed in accordance with the Project Quality Management Plan and Workplace Health and Safety standards.Directly influence the safety culture through the promotion of safe work practices to all project personnel.Perform technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement, and quality control functions for all activities at the site.Implement the inspection and test requirements of the Project Execution PlanMaintain positive relationships with client representatives.Continually monitor work team, promoting learning and development opportunities in support of current and future project requirements and their career development opportunities QualificationsProven experience in relevant engineering of Civil or RailRelevant Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, construction management or similarDemonstrated experience in the delivery of projects.Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex issues AUD Brisbane 4000

    Job Summary

    Martinus is seeking an experienced Civil or Track Project Engineer to support our Cross River Rail Project. 

     

    Tasks and responsibilities

    • Provide engineering support to the greater team to facilitate the construction delivery process.
    • Actively develop work packages in support of project construction activities, defining the scope of works, materials, and resource requirements
    • Support and assist the construction team in the execution of the project on time and within budget.
    • Ensure that all construction is completed in accordance with the Project Quality Management Plan and Workplace Health and Safety standards.
    • Directly influence the safety culture through the promotion of safe work practices to all project personnel.
    • Perform technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement, and quality control functions for all activities at the site.
    • Implement the inspection and test requirements of the Project Execution Plan
    • Maintain positive relationships with client representatives.
    • Continually monitor work team, promoting learning and development opportunities in support of current and future project requirements and their career development opportunities

     

    Qualifications

    • Proven experience in relevant engineering of Civil or Rail
    • Relevant Tertiary qualifications in civil engineering, construction management or similar
    • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of projects.
    • Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage complex issues
