Cost Administrator

The Role

We are seeking a Cost Administrator to join our dedicated team on an initial 6-month contract, with a strong likelihood of extension.

This role supports the Albury to Parkes (A2P) Project with Inland Rail. As a key member of the team, you will play a vital role in driving financial efficiency and supporting the successful delivery of this significant infrastructure project.

Your Responsibilities

• Responsible for the efficient and accurate collation of delivery dockets, plant dockets, and goods receipting of purchase orders.
• Responsible for the efficient and accurate collation of supporting data and documentation for client payment claim substantiation.
• Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting.
• Assist project team with procurement and preparation / close-out of purchase orders.
• Other admin duties as required to support the finance and project teams.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in cost administration role in a construction environment is preferable.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Effectively multitask and prioritise workload.
• Ability to engage in effective communication with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Consistently meet timelines and deliver on commitments.
• Display initiative and have a proactive approach to delivering the role.
