About the Role
Reporting to senior project leadership, you will oversee engineering activities across several concurrent rail projects within the city. You’ll ensure technical excellence, compliance, and efficient coordination between design, construction, and stakeholder teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage multidisciplinary engineering teams across multiple rail projects
  • Oversee design integration, constructability, and technical compliance
  • Coordinate closely with project managers, contractors, and key stakeholders
  • Ensure all engineering deliverables meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards
  • Identify and mitigate technical risks across project lifecycles
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes

About You

  • Degree-qualified in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
  • Extensive experience in rail infrastructure or major transport projects
  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams on complex projects
  • Strong knowledge of Australian rail standards and regulations
  • Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver under pressure
