Planner

Job Summary Martinus are seeking Planners with experience working on infrastructure projects. We currently have an opportunity supporting our A2P Project ( Albury to Parkes) with Inland Rail. The Planner will work closely with the Senior Planner and project leadership team to identify activities and their relationships, estimating durations and ensuring that task and sub-task schedules align with contractual requirements. Jobs Task and ResponsibilitiesIdentifying and analysing critical path activities, their constraints and schedule variances that will put key milestone dates at risk and monitoring efforts to update schedules and taking corrective actions to keep projects on track.Liaising with the site team and assisting in developing a detailed Construction ProgramDeveloping and managing the resource schedule to ensure appropriate coordination and scheduling of resourcesSubmit weekly and monthly progress reports to senior managers on major milestones. This includes a new status of schedule, S-Curves, 6 weeks look ahead report, changes and EVM reportIdentifying issues and risks of projects, their potential impacts and performed risk evaluationRescheduling the project plan in terms of changes and delays Knowledge, skills and attributesExperience as a Planner working on rail or civil construction projectsFlexible and adaptable with the ability to meet changing project demands and deadlinesHigh computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and P6High Level of organisation and advanced problem-solving skills   AUD Wagga Wagga 2650

Jobs Task and Responsibilities

  • Identifying and analysing critical path activities, their constraints and schedule variances that will put key milestone dates at risk and monitoring efforts to update schedules and taking corrective actions to keep projects on track.
  • Liaising with the site team and assisting in developing a detailed Construction Program
  • Developing and managing the resource schedule to ensure appropriate coordination and scheduling of resources

Knowledge, skills and attributes

  • Experience as a Planner working on rail or civil construction projects
  • Flexible and adaptable with the ability to meet changing project demands and deadlines
  • High computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and P6
  • High Level of organisation and advanced problem-solving skills
