Martinus is seeking Expressions of Interest from experienced Quantity Surveyors who are interested in playing a key role in the delivery of our expanding Rail Infrastructure portfolio.As we continue to expand our presence in Queensland, we're looking to connect with commercially astute professionals who thrive in complex infrastructure environments and are passionate about delivering projects that will leave a legacy across the SEQ region.About the role:Reporting to the Commercial Manager, you will be responsible for providing commercial leadership across a portfolio of rail station projects, ensuring robust cost management, contractual compliance, and commercial outcomes throughout the project lifecycle.Key responsibilities include:Managing project cost forecasting, reporting and budgeting.Administering head contracts and subcontract agreements.Preparing, assessing and negotiating variations and claims.Managing subcontractor procurement, payment and performance.Identifying and mitigating commercial risk.Supporting project delivery teams with commercial advice and decision-making.Developing strong relationships with clients, consultants and key stakeholders.Contributing to the successful commercial delivery of a high-profile rail infrastructure programYou will bring:Significant experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within major infrastructure, rail or civil construction projects.Strong knowledge of Australian construction contracts and commercial management practices.Experience administering complex contracts, variations and claims.Excellent analytical, negotiation and stakeholder management skills.A collaborative approach with the ability to influence project outcomes.A relevant tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Commercial Management or a related discipline.
