Senior Project Engineer-FIFO-Albury, NSW

We value the importance of balance between work and family life; and promote this philosophy throughout the company. Job Summary As we kick on further into the delivery of Inland Rail, we are now looking for a Senior Project Engineer, with a mix of Civil/Structural experience, strong TfNSW and contractor management skills to help manage the delivery of a major part of the project. It is important that the person can demonstrate experience with managing contracts up to $60M, ideally in similar roles on TfNSW projects. Job Tasks and ResponsibilitiesProvide engineering support to the greater team to facilitate the civil construction process.Ensure design deliverables are clearly defined in support of construction and project deliverables.Maintain positive relationships with client representatives.Actively develop work packages in support of project construction activities, defining scope of works, materials, and resource requirementsSupport and assist the construction team in the execution of the project on time and to budget.Ensure that all construction is completed in accordance with the Project Quality Management Plan and Workplace Health and Safety standards.Directly influence the safety culture through the promotion of safe work practices to all project personnelPerform technical, engineering, inspection, scheduling, planning, survey, procurement and quality control functions for all activities at siteImplement the inspection and test requirements of the Project Execution PlanContinually monitor work team, promoting learning and development opportunities in support of current and future project requirements and their own career development opportunitiesQualifications and ExperienceProven experience in a relevant engineering field such as Civil OR StructuralRelevant Tertiary qualifications in EngineeringDemonstrated experience in the delivery of projects.Strong communication skills with the ability to manage complex issues.Highly desirable previous experience of managing WAD agreementsTo apply online, please click on the appropriate link below.
