The project:

Daily Duties:

  • Operating Plasser tamper 3X, Plasser Unimat, Plasser SSP regulator and Harsco kershaw regulators
  • Harsco Jackson experience also desired
  • Mechanical checks/repairs
  • Before and after track measurements
  • Duty logs/coordination of ballast train
  • Updating daily diaries with supervisor & Machine pre starts.

To be successful you will need to hold/obtain:

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Tamper/Regulator Operator
  • ARTC TVO ticket
  • UGL TVO is - desirable
  • Cert II Rail Infrastructure
  • Construction Card (white/blue)
  • Ability to pass a Category 1 Rail Medical and drug and alcohol screening
  • Full C Class Driving licence
